Juanito Maltese-12yo, 8lb, neutered male. Juanito was a puppymill stud dog for probably all of his life until he came to rescue in 7/00. He is still rather timid but happy and loving now. In fall of 01 he was diagnosed with liver disease but is doing well on medicines, and a special diet. A sweet boy, not especially a lap dog but follows me all over and usually stays close to where I am. uses the dog door but still needs help with housetraining.
The adoption process includes:

3) Phone interview
4) Veterinary verification
5) Home visit
