Prince was rescued from a puppymill in Sept 01. He is 4 - 5 years old, 12
lbs. He had been VERY traumatized but is slowly coming around. He uses a dog
door faithfully. He seems to like being held but is still very elusive about
being caught. Not a good dog for kids as he will bite if reached for too
suddenly. Prince has low thyroid and is improving on a pill twice a day. He
will come for his meds and sometimes will come for pets when other dogs
gather around but otherwise stays back and watches. Good for someone who
wants to help a frightened little mill dog but can let him progress at his
own pace.
The adoption process includes:
1) The application request form

3) Phone interview
4) Veterinary verification
5) Home visit
