Princess is a 3-4yo, 9lb, spayed female. Maltese mix. From a puppymill that closed (Fall 01)she was not socialized, abused, and emotionally traumatized. She is slowly improving but still elusive, frightened of being caught, and flinches when touched. Will probably always have some emotional issues. Good about using a dog door, frightened of a leash.
The adoption process includes:

2) The application
3) Phone interview
4) Veterinary verification
5) Home visit
